Common questions
How do the trial and one-time purchase work?
Download the app for free and start a 14-day free trial in the app. The trial starts with the original Apple trial transaction and does not restart after restoration or reinstallation. There is no automatic charge. To keep creating/editing entries and using detailed reports and sync after the trial, purchase the full version once. The app shows the current App Store price for your region. Existing local entries and photos remain readable and deletable.
How do I restore a purchase?
Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for the purchase, then choose Restore Purchases on the app's purchase screen. Your App Store account may differ from your iCloud account. If restoring fails, contact support before deleting the app.
How do I manage a legacy subscription?
Open iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions and choose Dooey. You can also open subscription management from the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Access follows the expiration date shown by Apple. Request refunds through Apple's refund service.
Why are my entries missing on another device?
Check that both devices use the same iCloud account, automatic sync is enabled in the app, and a network connection is available. Sync may take time. Do not delete the app or its data on the device that still has your entries.
Can I recover a deleted entry?
Deleted entries remain in Trash for 30 days. Permanently deleted entries cannot be restored in the app. The developer does not keep your diary or recovery code.
How do Apple Watch and widgets work?
Open the iPhone app after starting the trial, purchasing or restoring to refresh access. Apple Watch must be paired with your iPhone. Widgets show a diary summary that others may be able to see.
Does Dooey provide a medical diagnosis?
No. Dooey is a personal journal. Reports summarize your entries and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
